SMS Messaging Terms

PowrPlay is a coaching-management app operated by Powrplay AI LLC (“PowrPlay,” “we,” “us”). These terms explain the text-message (SMS) notifications PowrPlay may send to parents, guardians, and coaches, and how to stop them. They supplement our Privacy Policy.
Messages we send
PowrPlay sends account and payment notifications only — for example, a reminder that a coaching payment is due or overdue for a student. These are transactional messages a coach or academy sends through PowrPlay. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.
A typical message looks like:
Riverside Tennis: $75.00 due for Jordan (August coaching). Please settle at your convenience.
How you opt in
A parent, guardian, or coach provides their mobile number when they create a PowrPlay account, complete their profile, or when a coach adds their family to an academy. At that point, on the same screen, they must tick a consent checkbox to expressly agree to receive account & payment reminder text messages (SMS) from PowrPlay and their academy — texts are never sent unless the box is checked. Providing a mobile number is optional, and consent can be turned off at any time in Settings → Text reminders or by replying STOP.

Message frequency
Messages are occasional and as-needed. You only receive a text when there is something to act on, such as a payment coming due — there is no fixed schedule or recurring campaign.

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. PowrPlay does not charge you for text messages.
Opting out & getting help
- Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts to that number. We send one confirmation and then send no further messages.
- Reply START to opt back in.
- Reply HELP for help, or email support@powrplay.ai.
Opt-out and help requests are handled automatically and take effect immediately. Opting out of texts does not close your account or stop email notifications.
Delivery
Message delivery depends on your carrier and device, and cannot be guaranteed. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
