Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account information — your name, email address, and (optionally) phone number. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive a sign-in identifier from them; with Apple’s Hide My Email, we only ever see a private relay address.
• Profile & academy details — information coaches and parents enter to run a program: academy details, coach bios, and student/family names, ages, and contact details.
• Content you provide — training photos and videos, session notes, and messages or comments exchanged between coaches and families.
• Payment records — amounts, dates, and paid/unpaid status recorded by coaches. We do not collect or store card or bank-account numbers.
• Location — an optional home city or address (to help families find nearby academies) and academy locations, provided through Google Places.
• Diagnostics — crash and performance data (via Sentry) so we can keep the app stable. We do not use advertising identifiers and do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
• Log data — standard technical information such as IP address and app version, used for security and troubleshooting.

How we use information

• Provide the service — scheduling, attendance, payment tracking, and coach-to-family updates.
• Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• Send transactional messages such as booking confirmations by email, and — only if you opt in — reminders by SMS.
• Maintain, debug, and improve the reliability of the app.
• Detect and prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Children’s information

Academies use PowrPlay to manage youth athletes. Information about a minor is entered and managed by their parent or guardian and their coach or academy. Children do not create their own PowrPlay accounts. A parent, guardian, or academy can review a child’s information and request its deletion at any time by contacting us.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

• With your academy and coach — that sharing is the core purpose of the app.
• With service providers who process data on our behalf: cloud hosting (Google Cloud), error and performance monitoring (Sentry), email delivery, and — where enabled — SMS delivery.
• With sign-in providers (Google, Apple) solely to authenticate you.
• When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the service.

Data retention & account deletion

We keep your information while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account in the app, or by emailing support@powrplay.ai. When you delete your account, we remove your personal identity (name, email, and sign-in) and you can no longer sign in. Your academy may retain anonymized attendance and payment records it needs for its own bookkeeping — these are no longer linked to your identity.

How we protect information

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS), passwords are stored only as secure hashes, and sign-in tokens are held in your device’s keychain or secure storage. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

Your choices & rights

You can review and update your information in the app, and delete your account as described above. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information (for example, under GDPR or CCPA). To exercise any of these, contact us at support@powrplay.ai.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
